The son of the singer's ex-wife Tameka Foster is reported by TMZ to be in 'critical condition' in Atlanta after being struck by 'someone riding a jet ski.'
Sources told the website that Kyle was sitting on an inner tube on Lake Lanie, a reservoir in northern Georgia, when he was hit on the head.
Kyle was unresponsive when he was rescued from the water, and according to the website is still unresponsive and remains in critical condition.
Usher, 33, split from Tameka back in 2009, with their divorce finalised later that year.
The superstar singer is said to have chartered a plane for Tameka, who was out of town, to be at her son's bedside.
Tameka, who has two children by the singer, Usher Raymond VI, four and three-year-old Naviyd Ely Raymond, was reported by TMZ sources to be 'extremely thankful' for the gesture and 'rushed immediately to be with her son.'
Kyle is one of two sons Tameka had by Atlanta clothier Ryan Glover. She also gave birth to a son as a teenager.
