nicole kidman perry street, Nicole Kidman has sold one of her Manhattan homes for a reported $16million. The Oscar-winning actress, 45, offloaded her residence in the city's star-studded West Village on July 10 after owning it nine years, according to The Real Deal.
Photos of the sprawling 3,785-square-foot apartment show its sweeping views of New York Harbor, which wrap around the three bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom home.A listing on Halstead shows the residence's 30-foot-wide entrance gallery in the famed building designed by architect Richard Meier.The building has become a draw for celebrities over the years, with Hugh Jackman and fashion designer Calvin Klein both reportedly having homes there.
Public records filed with the city on Wednesday show Kidman's deal was closed on July 10 with Perry West LLC, according to The Real Deal.
The sale comes two years after Kidman was said to have listed the home for rent, for a monthly fee of $45,000.
The actress was rumoured to have been bothered by the of another nearby highrise which partially blocked the stunning views of the Hudson River from the Perry Street property.Last year, the Kidman and her country music star husband Keith Urban were said to have bought another apartment on the city's west side for $10million.
The couple, which is based in Nashville where they live with their two young children, also has a home in Sydney, Australia.
They are said to have recently renovated the property, which has views of the Sydney Harbor Bridge and the Opera House, according to the Property Observer.
The actress, who has kept a low-profile in the wake of Tom Cruise's split from wife Katie Holmes, stepped out late last month to attend the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games.
Kidman was guest of honour at the private opening of Omega House, the watchmaker’s official residence during the London 2012 Olympics, and she was dressed to impress.The gorgeous star – who is a brand ambassador for the Swiss company – looked demure in a sleeveless black dress with black lace up sandals.
Her appearance came a day after she stepped out with husband Urban at the Olympics launch, where the excited actress posted pictures on her Facebook account and shared her enjoyment with her fans.
Posting one picture of herself looking excited, with her spouse in the background, Nicole wrote ‘At the Olympics with omega! Amazing!!’
Kidman was married to Cruise for nearly 10 years before the actor filed for divorce in 2001. She wed Urban in 2006.
